Emily Ivey is a second year Masters Student at Georgia Tech’s School of Public Policy. She focuses on Science and Technology Policy with a focus in Open Source Software Policy and E-democracy. Her current research explores military and defense applications for Open Source Software, and a project with the Carter Center to improve their election observation program. Additionally, she is also the Teaching Assistant for Dr. James White’s American Government class. She has a BA in English from Georgia State University.
