CACP has received numerous grants from entities including the National Science Foundation, University System of Georgia, and the Georgia Department of Community Health to conduct applied research on advanced communications, education and policy issues that can better prepare Georgia stakeholders for the digital transformation and evolution of the workforce. Examples include the WCLK-FM radio program “Lifeline: Statewide News and Information”, “A Statewide Satellite High-bandwidth Internet Delivery System with Integrated Video-on-demand to Georgia’s Educational Community”, and two grants to increase and connect minority educators to advances in technology, increase networking through diversified team compositions, create more avenues for collaboration among USG faculty, undergraduates and in-service educators.
