The objective CACP’s program initiatives is to identify, develop and host outreach mechanisms such as the Public Policy Luncheon Series. This program was instituted in 1991 under GCATT and then CACP in conjunction with the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association. This forum discussed regulatory and other public policy issues that affect the information and communications industry. CACP also sponsors or co-sponsors regional and national conferences that fall within our advanced communications and technology policy agenda.
Future plans are to develop a brown bag colloquium specifically geared to the graduate student population to discuss the topics and research in the advanced communications arena.
